Overview
M Ship Co., LLC, is an award-winning maritime design firm specializing in research and design of advanced vessels for the military, commercial and recreational markets. M Ship provides naval engineering services ranging from fundamental hull form research to complete vessel engineering and design.

 

M Ship was created with a dynamic mix of naval architects, boat builders and scientists to discover new marine technologies like the M-hull® design featured on the largest carbon fiber vessel in the U.S. Navy, the M80 Stiletto.


The M-hull® Technology and the VIRTUAL SHIPYARD™ manufacturing process — showcased by the delivery of the M80 Stiletto, the largest carbon-fiber military craft — provide broad-reaching solutions to the future requirements of naval surface warfare, where higher performance, faster build cycles and lower costs are essential for success.


To date, M Ship has built operational prototypes in each of its key markets, including the M80 Stiletto for the Pentagon's Office of Force Transformation. These vessels are proof of concept for M Ship's Rapid Empirical Innovation (REI®) services process and VIRTUAL SHIPYARD™ construction management system.


Yet, M Ship is more than the M hull. M Ship is built on creative, innovative processes that have allowed the company to achieve its success to date. Its entrepreneurial spirit — the willingness to take more risks to obtain greater rewards — drives innovation. M Ship is now testing unconventional designs toward the development of new technology the company believes will out perform existing technology and meet future specific needs, particularly for naval, combat and drug-interdiction operations.
